The Stella Maris Ampang follows the Kurikulum Standard Sekolah Rendah (KSSR), with Bahasa Melayu as the medium of instruction and a strong emphasis on English as a second language. As an initiative by the School, Science and Mathematics are additionally taught in English.

Yes, after completion of Year 5 National syllabus, you can opt to have your child transferred to Year 7 International syllabus; which is offered in our Damansara campus.

I have a / another child in Year 6 currently, can she skip a year and begin Year 8?

I understand the school prefers children to be 6 going on 7 to begin Year 1. Can my child begin Year 1 at 5 years old since he can read and write on his own and can manage himself (toilet trained)?

Can my child sit for the Assessment Test online instead of flying him back here?

Can my child join half way or middle of 1st / 2nd term?

Yes; however full term fees will still be applicable.

I have a / another child in Year 6 currently, can she skip a year and begin Year 8?

Not allowed

Do you provide transport service?

No. We provide transporters’ contact numbers.

To what extent is the security tightness in this school?

A Building Maintenance & Safety Supervisor, 3 Security Guards, CCTVs.

Does the school have any scholarships?

Is it possible to give a discount to parents who have more than 1 child on the security deposit required?

Are there any sibling discounts and how much is the sibling discount for the 2nd and 3^rd child?

Yes. 10% for 2nd child, 20% for 3rd child

What are the school fees for our Primary school?

Currently RM 4,140 per semester (RM 8,280 per year).

Does the fee increase every year?

We have not increased fees since 2017
